Anne Hawkins graduated from Glasgow University in 1975 with a degree in History. She has a Masters in Personnel Management and a Post Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching. She began her career in the Inland Revenue moving to the health service in 1979 where she joined the HR department in Argyll and Clyde Health Board. Anne has held a wide range of posts in HR and general management working in Ayrshire and Glasgow. In 1999 she became the Chief Executive of Forth Valley Primary Care Trust. Anne returned to Glasgow in 2005 to lead the dissolution of Argyll and Clyde Health Board. She became Director of the Mental Health Partnership in 2006. In November 2010 Anne was appointed Director of the Glasgow City CHP. Much of Anne’s career has been spent in change management e.g. closing large institutions and developing community services.
Anne is married has one daughter, and in her spare time enjoys reading, photography and gardening. .
