    Glasgow Works Scoop Two Awards

    Glasgow Works were recognised for their excellent work with employers at the Scottish Jobcentre Plus Awards on 22 July 2010.  Adam Smith College in Kirkcaldy hosted the event which was attended by over 100 employers and partner organisations from across Scotland. Glasgow Works picked up the Recruitment Partnership award for large employers in recognition of their partnership working with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Glasgow’s Local Regeneration Agencies for their NHS Works programme. This recruitment partnership has provided over 30 jobs for individuals who are further away from the labour market in Glasgow.

     

    Glasgow Works is presented with Jobcentre Plus Award

    The award was presented by Andy Willox from FSB to John Carroll, Employer Engagement Consultant Glasgow Works, Karen White NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Jo Nelson-Cairns Glasgow North Regeneration Agency.

    Andy Willox from FSB presented the award to Linda Smith Ailsa Care Services, David Lees Optima Training and Jacqueline Burns a recent recruit.


    Glasgow Works also received the Recruitment Partnership Award for SME’s. This honour was granted to Glasgow Works, Ailsa Care Services and Optima Training for their recent
    recruitment of 26 individuals into the care sector.
    Ailsa Care realised the opportunities available in working in close partnership with Glasgow Works while demonstrating their commitment to benefiting the communities that they serve.
