Glasgow Works, in partnership with Scottish Government, has developed Working with Ethnic Minority Clients: A Toolkit for Employability Partnerships and Projects.

The Toolkit highlights the issues which affect the employability of people from ethnic minority communities and builds on practice to assist individuals to feel confident they are using effective approaches.
The Toolkit aims to guide partnerships and services about how to:
- Make services more accessible
- Support people from ethnic minority communities
- Engage effectively with local ethnic minority organisations
- Build the capacity of local organisations to refer people for employability advice
- Become compliant with equality legislation
- Develop effective local action plans and targets on ethnic minority employability
The Toolkit was launched at a dissemination event on Friday 4 March 2011 attended by more than 70 delegates. Feedback from the event is available here.
