Glasgow Works, as one of the Department of Work and Pension’s City Strategy Pathfinders, has participated in both local and national evaluation activity.
The evaluation framework designed by DWP sought to find evidence of good partnership working, changing practices in employment services, and improved results for workless people.
The first national report, completed by the Institute for Employment Research at Warwick University, is available to download here.
In early 2010, DWP commenced the second stage evaluation to cover the remaining Pathfinder period to mid 2011 and parallel local evaluations will be undertaken by the Pathfinders.
