Employment Planning and Implementation Group (EPIG)
The EPIG is a joint health and social care planning group for employability. Attended by lead officers for each of the social work care groups and the lead officer for employability for each CHCP area, it is a forum for care groups to discuss and develop their approaches to employability. It sets employability targets and monitors performance for Glasgow City Council and contributes to the streamlining and delivery objectives of Glasgow Works.
The New Connections Team support the members of the EPIG to develop and implement their employability action plans.
